Guideline for the creation of print data for artworks and photo-faceplates
1. Supported file formates
Please send us your print data as vector graphics (e.g. EPS, SVG). This saves us some time and thus, we get to finish your in-ear monitor even faster. Shall this not be possible then please send us your data in a lossless format (e.g. PNG, TIFF). If even this is impossible for you, it is possible to send us a lossy file (e.g. JPG), but please notice that this usually results in a loss of quality.
Proprietary formats (e.g. AI, ID, PSD, CDR) are not supported.
2. Content of the print data
The print data shall be reduced to the background layer and contain neither alpha channels nor clipping paths.
3. File name
The files shall be named as follows:
- for photo-faceplates: faceplate_your-first-name_your-last-name
- for artworks: artwork_your-first-name_your-last-name
The resolution of the print data shall be 1200dpi or more, a bare minimum would be 300dpi (which would equal to a resolution of 450x600px).
Artworks shall be in black and white, but single-coloured at minimum. Supported colour modes are CMYK, RGB and greyscales, with a colour depth of 8bit/channel. Important: colour gradients are not supported.
Photo-faceplates shall be in CMYK, RGB or greyscales, with a colour depth of 8bit/channel. Important: transparencies are not supported.
